How to express your emotions around women in an authentic masculine way that makes you look confident, but not weak, so women love and respect you instead of walking all over you and treating you like a doormat.
It’s amazing when you think about the negative effect the feminist movement and its influence on TV and the media has had on men and women relating to the masculine and feminine roles each is supposed to play in a relationship. When you watch movies from 30 or 40 years ago, men are strong, brave, they fearlessly go for what they want and rarely say or express their emotions. It’s always the women who were talking about their feelings and emotions. Political correctness and this desire to not offend anyone has been the driving force to trying to make both sexes the same.
Unfortunately, it’s made a mess of our families and taught both men and women a completely dysfunctional, destructive, inauthentic and inaccurate way we should interact with one another. Women are taught to act more like men to be strong, and men are taught to be more like women to be sensitive and get in touch with their feelings. Neither one is congruent with what the essence of divine masculinity and divine femininity is. The following is an e-mail from a reader who has succumbed to the brainwashing that he needs to act like a woman to be effective in his relationships with them. Unfortunately, he’s become unsure of himself and indecisive even though these are natural and innate male strength characteristics. My comments are (in bold brackets like this) in the body of his e-mail.
Hi Corey,
Since I broke up with my selfish, insecure girlfriend several months ago, I have been reading your book, 3% man, over and over. (You can download the Amazon Kindle version of my book to your Smartphone, PC, Mac or iPad in under 60 seconds for only $9.99 by CLICKING HERE to learn how to meet and date the type of women you’ve always wanted and have effortless relationships.) I’ve also been really taking on board your YouTube videos. You have been really inspiring and also taught me a lot about why women do what they do, and also what I have done to sabotage things. This has helped me to be far less angry with them for how they have treated me in the past.
I just wanted to say that I love it and it is so challenging, but also very compassionate in its approach. It really inspires me to grow as a man, so thank you very much! The reason I am e-mailing is because I am struggling with some of the things you say. I want to be “the mountain” and also calm, collected, witty, and charming in conflict with a woman, but it’s so hard as I am a sensitive, gentle guy who has been in relationships with emotionally abusive women. I notice nowadays that until recently, since reading your stuff and applying the basics, I spent a lot of time pleasing a woman out of fear of abuse. (That is what most TV programs brainwash us with. Men who are afraid of women and who scurry like cockroaches as soon as she enters the room.
Men are always lying and trying to avoid pissing the woman off. Seeking a woman’s approval causes rejection.) I am now cutting that out, standing up for myself, saying what I think, yet also trying to be in control of my emotions. However, it is so hard because now that I am growing in authenticity, I am really noticing that I am a really emotional person. It is so easy to feel less like a man and more like a woman sometimes in that respect.
(Cry in your beer to your drinking buddies, your guy friends. If you try to make women you are dating or in a relationship with your shrink, counselor, your mommy, etc. they will all reject you. It’s ok to express emotions when something makes you sad or you cry during a movie, but to act like a woman who constantly cries, needs emotional support and needs someone to listen to all your fears and doubts about yourself is a turn-off. Women are attracted to a man’s strength, not his weaknesses.) Sometimes I wonder if a woman would ever find the sensitive side of me attractive at all, and more importantly, admire, cherish, and honor that side of me, too. (Sounds like you want a woman to be your mommy instead of your lover.)
I know I have limiting beliefs here, so feel free to call me on it. I am ok with respectful feedback/constructive criticism! I am just not sure how to do what you say to do when I am such a sensitive guy who doesn’t want to be a wussbag, but also doesn’t wanna change how he was created. Do you have any encouragement or advice, as you are clearly a really kind respectful person. (Dude, you’re acting like a little bitch. Act like a man acts. Masculine energy is all about purpose, drive, mission, etc. in life. Feminine energy is all about opening up to receive love.
You should chase your grandest goals and dreams. Become a complete, happy and whole man who is looking for someone to share his completeness with, not someone to complete him or make up for what he lacks. Repetition is the mother of skill. You need to practice what I teach in my book with as many women as possible so you can improve your skills of seduction.)
God bless you and thank you for everything,
Gareth
