In order for your body to be in optimum health, proper circulation and functioning of all of your body’s systems is essential. I’m not just talking about the heart and its blood vessels. In order for the cells of your body to thrive and survive they need three things: 1) oxygen 2) the proper nutrients 3) ability to eliminate waste. If anyone of these three are missing or compromised, dis-ease and symptoms are a result.
The heart is the pump for your blood system. Your lymphatic system has no pump. Your lymphatic system requires expansion and contraction of your muscles to move the lymphatic fluid to your abdomen where it drains into the colon.
I run 3 to 4 times a week for about 35 to 40 minutes. I do weights five times a week with the workouts varying between 15 to 25 minutes depending on the body part I am concentrating on. I do each body part once a week.
To me, my health and taking care of my body is my most important daily goal. Because if I don’t have my health, it makes it very hard to enjoy my life, think clearly, look my best, feel my best, etc. Think about it, if you feel like crap, you’re going to need a lot of sleep and you won’t have very much energy to do the things you need to do on a daily basis to be successful at creating the life you really want. That’s something to think about.
When we are children, we are constantly running around climbing on things and using our muscles all day long. As we grow up and start our careers, physical fitness and exercise usually disappear from most peoples daily lives. They suffer tremendously for it. It’s easier and more convenient for them to go to a doctor and get a “pill for your ills”.
So as people get older, they don’t move very much or do anything to keep their bodies in shape. Their bodies become fat because they are not getting enough alkaline and high energy foods, or the exercise and conditioning to properly move and circulate the nutrients throughout their bodies… along with eliminating the wastes. Your body in addition to using fat for lubrication of your joints, forming your red blood cells, etc. also uses fat to bind up toxins and remove them from the body. But if you’re not getting the proper nutrients and exercise, your body has no choice but to park the toxins in fat throughout your body in hopes that someday your diet will change and you will move enough to create the conditions where your body can safely and successfully eliminate them.
The disgusting thing is, most people are literally rotting from the inside out. The organisms and bacteria that are always present in your body, but under normal healthy conditions are benign and mostly dormant, are instead breaking down and feeding on your rotting body. These organisms and bacteria usually only become active in the highly acidic environment that exists in your tissues when you die.
