Does She Only Like My Money?

How to tell when a woman is taking advantage of you so you don’t end up getting screwed over. Some guys in their own neediness and desperation for love, will often get involved with women who only want to be their friend and are clear about their intentions, but the guys mistakenly assume she’ll change her mind if they just do enough things for her. They figure if they wait on her hand and foot and try to solve all of her problems, that eventually she will fall in love with them. The only thing that ends up happening is that they get used, they waste their money and sometimes months or years of their lives on women they have no chance with. The following is an e-mail from a reader who I answered some other questions of his in a recent YouTube video. He was trying to get this woman to love him who has constantly told him she’s only interested in friendship. A few weeks later, now she’s moved in to one of his spare bedrooms, she has no job or income, she asks him for money and when he gives it to her, she tells him to get out of her room! He’s written me this time asking me if I think he’s getting used. My comments are (in bold brackets like this) in the body of his e-mail:

Hi Corey,

Please tell me what to do because she has now moved in to stay with me in the same house. Yet she still doesn’t want me to say anything. (Translation: “I don’t want you to tell anyone because I don’t want people thinking we are together because we are not together.”) Last night I walked by her room trying to make my way out because the previous day, she asked me for some money. I asked her does she really love me and she says “yes.” (Translation: “I love you as a friend, but you can think whatever you want because I need some money.”) She was smiling at me. I gave her the money anyway, but then she asked me to get out of the room. (Translation: “Thanks for the money you sucker, now get out of my room because I don’t want you thinking I want anything other than friendship with you. I’m just using you, but you seem all too happy to let me live with you for free and give me money, so as long as you let me use you, I will be happy to do it.”) In fact, it was very embarrassing. (Your inner voice and intuition was saying, “Dude! What the fuck is wrong with you? She’s using you because you are letting her.” No one will ever do or say anything to you that you don’t invite them to do.) How do I stop her from coming close? (What? Coming close to what? Complete clear sentences are helpful. I don’t know what the fuck you’re asking me about there.) I always feel pity for her too since she is not working at the moment. Is she really taking advantage of me? (Dude, you already know she’s using you! You’ve compromised your values and are letting this chick walk all over you in your neediness for love. That’s pretty fucking weak and pathetic. You need to tell this loser to hit the road and find some other sucker to walk all over and use. BE A MAN!!! Take some pride in yourself and get this taker and user out of your life forever so you can start meeting & dating other women who you actually have a chance with so you can learn to improve and master your skills of seduction.)
