How to use playful banter to quickly get her number after matching online.

In this video coaching newsletter I discuss an email from a viewer who shares a short success story of how he used playful banter and stole one of my lines to playfully and quickly get a woman’s phone number after they matched on Facebook dating. I discuss the process to handle the phone call and set the first date after getting her number. My comments are in bold italics like this below in the body of his email.

Hi, I’m Coach Corey Wayne and this is my Video Coaching Newsletter. And the topic of today’s Newsletter is going to be, “How To Use Playful Banter To Get Her Number After Matching Online”.

Well, I’ve got a really short success story of a guy that got on Facebook dating and met this girl, bantered back and forth a little bit. As a matter of fact, he plagiarized, or I say he borrowed one of my lines that I use and actually had a pretty funny exchange with her, and she gave her number up pretty quickly. So it just shows how a little humor and a little playful banter can make it easy to quickly get a phone number.

Because with online dating, there’s a lot of time wasters, tire kickers and girls just looking and logging on for attention and validation because Chad Thunder Cock broke their heart. As soon as they get some of that, they’re off the app or they leave you hanging. And so you want to cut through the BS as quickly as possible in as few steps as possible.

Because once you get the phone number, you want to spend maybe ten, 15 minutes talking on the phone. And just so you can see how the conversation flows with her, take a sincere, authentic interest in the girl. Ask her about the types of things she loves to do and enjoy. Maybe you find out that you guys like doing the same thing, and that can help you plan what kind of a date you’re going to go on.

But the important thing is to find out. Is she fun to talk to? Do you like talking to or do you like to sound of her voice and vice versa? Because if your conversation is not flowing too good on the phone, it’s not going to typically flow any better in person.

So you’re trying to screen out the time wasters and the tire kickers from the girls that are sincere and obviously the girls that are the nuts and the lunatics that you should avoid at all costs. And if you can swing it, maybe even if the conversation goes really well, it’s like, “Hey, why don’t we switch to FaceTime?”

And then maybe you can switch to FaceTime. That way you can make sure that she looks as good on FaceTime video as she does in her pictures. Because again, when you go out on enough dates and enough online dates and you meet up with enough girls that don’t look like their picture, or you don’t really click with in person.

You want to have a good experience and you don’t want to waste your time, especially some of you guys that are on a budget. You don’t want to be wasting your time meeting girls for drinks or at a wine bar or whatever, and then you’re like, “”Shit, she doesn’t look like her pictures. Or I hate the sound of her voice. Or she’s just annoying and not fun to talk to.”

Because, you know, sometimes you can set a date where you don’t even talk to the person. And so the less you interact with them to pre-qualify them upfront, the more you’re just going to get a higher incidence of going out on dates with girls that don’t look like their pictures, you don’t like listening to them or talking to them.

So the more you can get done ahead of time, and any of you guys that are in sales that you deal with prospects yet, you know, you’ve got to go through a lot of leads in order to find a good one. And your time is limited. If you’ve only got 1 or 2 evenings available, you don’t want to be wasting those on girls that you could have weeded out over the phone or over FaceTime chat, because your time is valuable too.

I am a long time follower but first time writing in.

I would like to share a brief message exchange I had with a woman from Facebook dating. I hope you will consider making a short YouTube video to highlight just how easy and effortless it really is when people actually follow what you teach. In this particular the woman actually highlights exactly what you teach.

And so let’s go through his email and see what he did. And so you could tell he had a couple lines or jokes to just kind of take her through a fun process. Asking some fun questions that showed he’s, you know, got a fun kind of personality, and it doesn’t take too much. And you could use these same ones with multiple girls.

And that’s what’s cool is that you come up with 2 or 3 playful things that you banter back and forth with, and you can do what every single woman and you take her to the same place, you go to the same wine bar because there’s a great restaurant across the street, and then down the street from that great restaurant, there’s a great place that’s got pool tables or darts or video games or a Top Golf type of thing.

Where it’s just you’re like, boom, boom, boom, you go to three cool places and then your home base is close by so you can hang out, have fun while you’re hanging out. And then the hookup part, at the end, after 4 or 5 hours of hanging together, you’ll convert a much higher rate of prospects to your bedroom. So my job as a coach is to help you get what you want. So let’s see. So he shows. Hey, you and Jessica matched. So I guess this is a line that he used from one of my videos and he says,

He said: Hey, what trouble are you causing tonight?

That’s his opener, which is pretty playful. And he’s and you know, that’s not something the nice guy is going to say. That’s, you know, a guy that’s, you know, going to break balls, probably had a, you know, bratty little sister growing up, knows how to talk to women and joke around with them. So right away it puts her at ease.

She said: Well that would be telling wouldn’t it lol

He said: Keeping your cards close to your chest, I like it.

And so this is another he’s got like a pre can line and you guys can modify this and use this at your discretion, or come up with ones on your own because you know, flirting and playfulness is just kind of ridiculous. It doesn’t have a point. It’s again, if you had a bratty little sister or an older sister and you grew up fucking with each other, these are the kinds of things that you’re going to talk about.

You might even have a purple polka dotted ping pong ball joke that’s like long and nonsensical. It goes on for about seven eight minutes and the punch line is just, it’s cheesy, but it’s great for little kids. It’s great with women, it’s great with adults. It always gets a chuckle out of everybody.

And so that’s why it’s important that you can have a few good things like this, especially if you’re doing online dating to make things a little interesting that are a little challenging to the girl and fun. And they’re different than most of the dudes she’s going to talk to. So this is his second little routine, if you will, to borrow a term from the pick up community.

He said: Would you rather look after 100 small ducks or one giant duck?

So it’s like, that’s not going to get you a yes or no response. It’s like, well, what an odd question. That’s kind of funny. That’s kind of fun and playful. You could say it to an old lady. You can say it to an eight year old or a 25 year old woman. It works with everybody.

She said: Probably the 1 giant one as I could use it to carry me around everywhere like a horse ha ha ha. What about you? X

He said: Haha love it. 100 small ones, like an army of ducks.

And then he goes right into another one.

He said: A lifetime supply of pizza or a lifetime supply of McDonald’s? x

She said: Ha ha ha used to little this are you lol. Would have to be pizza. You? Xx

He said: Pizza 100% I’m used to getting what! want. x

She said: Oh is that so??? And how do you do that? X

And so remember, love is playful and fun. And he’s trying to be mysterious. And so you know, teasing is kind of playful and it’s also resisting her a little bit.

He said: Ah you will have to wait and see. You should give me your phone number and find out. X

She said: Oh will I now… and what am I giving you my number for? X

He said: So I can tell you where I am taking you out x

That’s pretty smooth.

She said: Oh you really are smooth ain’t you. Just for your confidence and directness I’ll give you my number lol

And yes, I stole the “Hey, what trouble are you causing tonight” from your previous video.

And she gives him his number. So see how easy that is? That was like how many texts did he send here? Let me count them. So his opener is 1, 2,3, 4, 5, 6. 6 responses and he gets the phone number. So that type of thing can take about 5 to 7 minutes, because it’s the kind of questions that keep her interested and the kind of questions that communicate that you understand how attraction works.

You probably had a younger or older sisters that you’re used to fucking with. And because love is playful and fun, so that right there puts a woman at ease, tells her that you know how to talk to him, and you’re probably fun. You’re not going to say weird, creepy things.

You say interesting things are fun and a little mysterious, and you’re direct. And she complimented him at the very end. I’ll read it again, “Just for your confidence and directness.
