In this video coaching newsletter I answer an email from a viewer who wants to know how to remain confident even when you are beset on all sides by things that seem to negate your confidence or that are disconcerting. Succeeding in life comes when you take personal responsibility for your own success, failure and actions… and… own the consequences or circumstances that happen in your life as a result. Life is like a game of golf in that you are only playing against yourself. Your ability to move forward and overcome challenges, negative people, turmoil, etc. is directly related to the positive and empowering, or negative and disempowering meanings and associations that you give the events and circumstances of your life. If you can’t immediately change the circumstances of your life, the only thing you do have the power to change is what things mean to you.
